Jeff… GREAT TOURNAMENT!!!!!!!...the competition was tough but not so tough that even some of my young guys couldn’t pick up a win or two… my only suggestion perhaps would be shorter breaks but I am aware that the officials need some rest and energy boosts from food throughout the day… other than that it was AWESOME!

The coverage and commentary on FloWrestling added an incredible dynamic to the event and an experience that my guys will always remember.

Thanks for inviting Franklin Road Academy from Nashville. I will definitely recommend the Prep Slam to the other Independent schools. For schools with limited coaches (myself and an assistant), it would be helpful if we had a screen to refer to in addition to the clocks. If I had been in the wrong place at the wrong time I would have missed the conso adjustments in the schedule. If you had a projected screen that identified which matches were up in both gyms – it would have definitely helped my running back and forth. If you get a true 64 team field next year, the projected screen for bout numbers would be great. If you had access to an electronic sign, it could run announcements, team scores, etc.. As organized as everything is, you’re going to get nit picky suggestions.
Since people have access to TrackWrestling through their I-phone, somebody tech savvy enough could create the Prep Slam app for coaches and wrestlers sometime.
Your relationship with Flowrestling and Clinch Gear are invaluable. I’m rebuilding a program and the tournament legitimized my stories about the Senior nationals, Reno, and the Virginia Duals . We got to win some matches and defended ourselves against some of the champions. Being in that environment really jacked up our team morale which is what I was shooting for the most. Great job – it really is impressive.
